The Pro version of Microsoft Surface will be released in January 2013



This update of the tablet will be more efficient than the public version, but also heavier and more expensive.
Not yet a PC, but quite a tablet. Microsoft has set a date and a price for the Pro version of the tablet surface. It will be released worldwide in January 2013 for a price ranging from $ 899 (64GB) to $ 999 (128 GB) - will have to wait to know the exact price in euros. It should complement the existing range, including first prize starts at 489 euros.

What justifies this price difference? First, the Pro version will benefit from Windows 8, the same operating system found on the PC, not the Windows system reduced RT. From a hardware point of view, too, the trend is significant. The sheet displays a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a processor Ivy Bridge i5 - found eg on some laptops -, 4 GB of RAM, a USB 3.0 port and video output Mini DisplayPort kind.
This impressive hardware is paid by a battery which should be reduced by half compared to the standard version. The tablet should also flirt with the balance kilo to 14 millimeters thick. Both the weight by the price, this version brings upscale therefore increasingly ultrabooks, although it will still deliver hand the wallet to get the physical keyboard and protective shell.
